Bagatelle is the predecessor of the modern pinball game and is just as addictive. It's difficult to find in pubs nowadays but played enthusiastically by families. Once you've fired the ball you simply hope it lands in a high scoring area, but it's possible to perfect your launching skills and improve your game so that it's not just a matter of luck.
