You are trying to maintain control of the French city of Carcassonne in this simple but clever tile laying game.

You lay tiles from a central stack to create roads, fields, cities and cloisters. Then deploy your followers as thieves, farmers, knights and monks to maintain your position and score points. Different parts of the landscape are worth different points.
