Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Browse our Catalog, and put your chosen games into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be be taken through the 4 stage buying process.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You can send your credit card information via phone, post or over the Internet.

We ask for your phone number so that we can call if there are any problems, most commonly this might be an incorrectly typed credit card number. We won't call you unless we need to.

Shipping And Handling Our average delivery time is five - seven working days.

UK: We will charge you a rate that reflects the weight of your parcel. This is capped at £10.00, which is the most you will be charged for a delivery in the UK.

Europe and Overseas: We charge you a rate that reflects the weight of your item. You will notice that the rate jumps considerably for heavier items, this is because after the 'small packet' post office rate ends it just is very expensive to send parcels abroad. For extremely large orders we may have to charge you a rate that is different to those quoted here, we will always email with this new figure and will not charge your credit card until you have confirmed that this will be alright.
Delivery Schedule We will normally ship your order to you within 5 business days. If there is going to be a delay, perhaps because we waiting for stock, we will email you to let you know. If there is going to a wait then you choose to substitute the goods or have some follow on later but this doesn't happen very often. We send using the first class post, parcel post and a courier service.

International orders are generally received in under 30 days.
Back Orders We don't automatically put items on back order, if we can't supply something within a couple of weeks we will always get in touch with you. You can choose to wait or substitute the item or cancel the order.

Tax Charges All prices quoted in our catalogue INCLUDE value added tax (VAT) at 20%. This applies to all orders.

Credit Card Security Our site uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to encrypt the personal information that you send through to us. At the bottom of the screen you should see the golden padlock which tells you the process is secure. We've never had an instance of fraud on our website.
Guarantee We will send your order in a timely and freindly fashion. You will always be able to get in touch and have a chat about your order and you can cancel or change it if we haven't sent it out.

Goods offered for sale are described on the website. Images on the web are for guidance and are not meant to be exact representations of the goods provided, this is because we cannot control the colours on your computer. This is especially true of handmade and wooden goods.

All prices on this website remain valid until such time as Compendia update prices on their website. Compendia undertakes to provide goods and services for the price quoted at the time of ordering.

Compendia retains the right to refuse to provide any goods where we see fit and especially in the following circumstances:
Where the price on the website cannot reasonably be expected to cover the value of the goods and is obviously a typing error.
Where we suspect any fraudulent or suspect use of a credit card
Where we suspect it might harm our own business interests to do so.
Where this occurs Compendia will notify the customer of our decision by email within seven days of the order being placed.

Privacy Policy Compendia Traditional Games do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

Returns Policy The customer has the right to cancel the order within seven days of receiving it. In this case the customer will arrange and pay for the goods to be returned to Compendia, 21 Resolution Way, Deptford, London, SE8 4NT. Compendia will refund the cost of the goods returned when they are received in good condition. The package containing the goods must also contain, in writing, information as to the identity of the customer who is returning the goods. Postage costs are non-refundable.

The standard delivery charge is calculated as an average charge based on the weight of the various goods provided. Customers should note that in many cases the weight of the goods will mean that it costs them more than the delivery charge to return.

We can only refund to the card that was used in the original transaction.

If you have sent us a cheque we will refund you by cheque.

We never refund in cash for mail order sales.
Remittance Terms All payments must be completed prior to despatch. Credit card payments enable immediate despatch.
