the traditional games shop in Greenwich Market. Here you can
buy board games, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, dominoes and
a range of fun bits and pieces.
Compendia is an independent family business run by Mr and
Mrs Toogood. We design our product range around games we enjoy
as a family.
We have a reputation for finding games that are difficult
to get hold of. From America we have modern favourites like
Mexican Train dominoes, the Pit card game and Phase 10 cards.
We have ancient games from around the world, such as the Japanese
board game Go and African Mancala. We also stock the best
traditional British games including Shut the Box and Shove
ha'penny.
Our games rely mainly on mind power and occasionally some
manual dexterity. We do not sell computer games or games that
require batteries or plugs. If you have any questions please

The shop is open from 11.00-5.30
seven days a week. If you are coming to see us for
something in particular you are welcome to ring ahead and
